Aimless

After yesterday's frantic pace it was good to slow down today. Luxembourg Gardens, the Sorbonne, narrow side streets and more wonderful architecture turned into a 4 hr stroll. When I finally stopped for a late lunch at a cafe, a group of 7 young Brits sat at the tables next to me. Turns out one of them was in yesterday's marathon, and the rest had come to cheer him on.
Observation - a lot of Parisians smoke. I'm mean a lot. And most of them very young. Not allowed to smoke indoors, they stand on the street and in shop doorways puffing away. Also at sidewalk cafes. If you want to sit outdoors, you have to put up with it.
Graffit for David

What is it??

Luxembourg gardens

Even the ducks like it.

Rub Montaigne's toe for luck....
