Building(s)

The city of Paris seems to have cranes and scaffolding everywhere, either with new construction, or more often with renovations. No shortage of work for tradesmen here. The new buildings can be interesting - sometimes - but I still gravitate toward the beautiful limestone buildings of the past, many of them displaying plaques proclaiming the name of the architect. They can be sedate, or completely flamboyant, but they fascinate me.

  1. The doorway in the second last pic is amazing. I want one.
